With our newest acquisition (Audi Washington) came a new team. In this month’s Team Member Tuesday profile, we’re taking a look at one of the newest members, Jay Barney. Here’s more on the Audi Washington Sales Consultant:

  • My first job: Worked construction for my uncle at age 15
  • Three things that you’ll always find in my refrigerator: (1) water, (2) Greek yogurt, and (3) milk.
  • My favorite movie and reason why: Goodfellas
  • My favorite book and reason why: The Wisdom of Andrew Carnegie …. The book changed how I think and made me a better man.
  • My favorite inspirational quote: “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take”—Wayne Gretzky
  • The most famous person that I’ve ever met was: Michael Jordan in the Atlanta airport
  • When I was growing up my friends called me: J.J. or J Bird
  • My dream vacation: Anywhere with my wife and daughter.
  • Favorite restaurant: Eddie Merlot’s
  • Favorite Home-cooked meal: Chicken Parmesan
  • Dream car:  Ferrari 458 Italia, and of course an Audi R8
  • Secret vice: Smoking cigars
  • Top three things on my “bucket list”: (1) skydive, (2) go to a Super Bowl (preferably when the Steelers are in it), (3) visit Italy
  • If I could have dinner with any famous person, living or dead, I would choose to have dinner with: Bill Gates … I’d love to pick his brain and talk business
  • Favorite coach ever, and why: High school baseball coach, Mr Rosnick …. He instilled integrity, courage and heart
  • My favorite iPhone app: Quickpage (Sales Consultants download it)
