Subaru Helps National, Local Charities with “Share The Love” Campaign

Subaru_Love_Promise_Horizontal_4C_reverse‘Tis the season to Share the Love!
Subaru of America has kicked off its annual “Share the Love” campaign. This year’s theme centers around the 1969 Jackie DeShannon hit, “Put a Little Love in Your Heart,” to demonstrate the genuine human impact that all of us can create.
Customers who purchase or lease a new vehicle between November 17th and January 3rd have the option of donating $250 to the National charity of their choice:

  • ASPCA
  • Make-A-Wish
  • Meals on Wheels America
  • National Park Foundation

They may also donate the funds to the Hometown Charity chosen by each Subaru Location.

Our Subaru of Monroeville team has partnered with Family House this year. The non-profit provides an affordable “home away from home” for patients and their families who are receiving medical treatment at Pittsburgh hospitals. Family house has given more than 200,000 guests—who would have otherwise spent nights in hospital waiting rooms— a safe haven since its founding in 1983.

In addition to the $250, our showroom will host a Supply Tree in December. It will feature items from the organization’s wish list. These items range from food items for their pantries to toiletries for guests.

Subaru of Butler will be teaming up with the Butler County Humane Society. The no-kill shelter has provided refuge for homeless, adoptable dogs and cats for more than a century.

We are accepting food, supply and monetary donations. But this year, we want to help give these animals the greatest gift of all: a forever home. That is why we will have an “Adoption Tree” in our showroom in December. Pictures and information about adoptable pets at the shelter will decorate the tree. Interested customers may take the ornament to a Sales Consultant will make sure that someone from the shelter reaches out.

Since Share the Love began, Subaru and its retailers have donated nearly $90 million to national and local charities.

We hope that you will stop by our showrooms to help a person or pet in need this holiday season.
