Renovation Celebration Marks Opening of Remodeled Ford Building

We started our renovation engines at Allegheny Valley Ford last year.  There were some rocky laps, but we finally made it to the finish line. It’s only right that a rip-roaring Renovation Celebration ensue!

There was something for everyone during this three-day event.  Thursday,  we kicked things off with a ribbon cutting event inside the larger, newly-remodeled showroom. Ford’s Vice President of Marketing, Sales and Service Mark LaNeve and his wife, Paula, drove in from Detroit to help us usher in a new era of Ford excellence in the region. It even made the news: KDKA’s money Editor Jon Delano interviewed Mark, a Beaver Falls native, and Rob for an automotive segment on the best time to buy a vehicle.

There was food, music, drinks, and the opportunity for guests to tour the new sales and service areas. This includes the new Ford Quick Lane. Now, customers who need express service do not need an appointment.  For those who need a little more time, the amenities will make it much more comfortable: Wi-Fi, high-definition TV, complimentary beverages and snacks.

Even with all of the newness, we managed to include a little vintage: We had a 1930 Ford Model A on display, courtesy of Team Member Chase Stewart.

NASCAR fans were excited to learn that we had Joey Logano’s #22 Ford Fusion in the new showroom throughout the weekend.  Of course, no finish line celebration is complete without someone who’s seen it: local racing legend Lynn Geisler was on hand for a meet and greet. What better accessory to have than #1 Cochran’s Lernerville car, which was also on display throughout the weekend. WDVE’s live broadcast Saturday was full of prizes from us and the rock station.

We didn’t leave out the crowd too young to drive. Our Child Safety Day gave Freeport students from kindergarten through 6th grade the chance to tour ambulances and fire trucks. They also met firefighters and state police, who gave them a free child identification kit.

We’re thrilled with the turnout and want to thank everyone who attended. We are very excited to bring a new level of service to our customers.
