Nissan Murano Makes 2016 List of “Best Cars for the Money”
This is going to be a big weekend for Nissan!
Not only has the Nissan Murano made U.S. News & World Report‘s list of, “Best Cars for the Money,” it’s being honored as “Best Two-Row SUV” during the Chicago Auto Show.
The U.S. News & World Report rankings compare cars based on several factors, including:
- Value (five-year total cost combined with the vehicle’s average price when the list is published)
This is the second year that this stylish crossover has made this prestigious list. Dealerships have already seen a 46-percent increase in sales in January 2016.
Report editors had this to say about their choice:
“The passenger cabin wouldn’t look out of place in a luxury SUV, the seats are ridiculously comfortable, and all of the tech features are user-friendly. When you take all of those strengths together, however, it’s not hard to see why the Murano is a winner for both buyers and their budgets.”
The 2016 Murano is offered in four trim levels – S, SV, SL and Platinum. It also comes with a choice of front-wheel or Intuitive all-wheel drive. Several changes, such as weight reduction and low rolling resistance, helped contribute to the 20-percent fuel economy increase in this year’s model. The technology available in the Murano seems infinite: NissanConnectSM with Navigation, Around View Monitor, Nissan Intelligent Key with Push Button Ignition, 11-speaker Bose premium audio system.
If you’re in the market for a SUV that comes with trophies, this might not be a bad choice. You can check out the Murano at #1 Cochran Nissan of South Hills.
