March 14th, 2016 by

Subaru Loves PetsIn an effort to support animal welfare and work to make a positive impact, #1 Cochran Subaru is organizing a month-long pet food drive in October as part of a larger Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA) effort this month called “Subaru Loves Pets.” The food drive will support Animal Friends of Pittsburgh and the Butler County Humane Society.

Donated pet food and supplies can be dropped off at the Monroeville location on William Penn Highway or the Butler County location on New Castle Road. A wish list for Animal Friends can be found here and Butler County Humane Society can be found here.

#1 Cochran Subaru is supporting these local shelters by hosting events on October 27th in Monroeville from 6p-8p and October 29th in Butler County from 6p-8p. The fun-filled events will include costume-wearing pets with a photo op, special treats for the furry friends, an “Ask the Vet” booth, a chance to win great prizes and a hand-off of much needed pet food and supplies that were collected during the month.

The Subaru Loves Pets effort reflects SOA’s corporate goals to improve animal welfare and the lives of those in the local communities where we live and work. All of which is a part of the larger Subaru Love Promise effort dedicated to making a positive impact on the world.
