#1 Cochran Holding Food Drive for “Subaru Loves Pets” Campaign

October is all about the animals. It’s:

Not to mention there’s World Animal Day, Reptile Awareness Day, National Cat Day… The list goes on and on.

Subaru of America sees that, and wants to do its part. The “Subaru Love Promise” has several campaigns that make a positive impact on those who

walk on two legs; “Subaru Loves Pets” is making an effort to create a positive place for those who walk on four. Throughout the month, showrooms across the country will be collecting pet food to help local shelters.

Subaru of Monroeville and Butler County are doing their part to support the well-being of our pets by holding a month-long food drive.

Our Butler location is working with our friends at the Butler County Humane Society. This year, our Monroeville location will be working with the Western Pa Humane Society— which is set to become one of the largest shelters in the state due to an upcoming merge with the Animal Rescue League (congratulations!)

While we want to help our furry companions, we want them to have fun as well! That’s why we will be holding community events at both locations:

  • Monroeville – Tuesday, October 25th from 6:00-8:00 pm
  • Butler— Thursday, October 27th from 6:00-8:00 pm

There will be treats for the animals (and the humans) and activities, including a costume contest, and even a chance to interact with a pet or two that is up for adoption. There will be information for those interested in adopting as well.

Both shelters have given a wish list that you can view below:

To RSVP, just click on this link. We hope that everyone helps however they can. We can’t wait to see you at our events later this month.
